On March 9th, students will travel with their B-day classes to various presentations in the second annual Celebrate Central day.

“One of my classes is going to the poverty simulation,” freshman Alexia McCade said. “I think it will be interesting to put myself in their shoes.”

Among the topics available are Holocaust survivors (and generational survivors), living abroad, world religions, the faces of Parkway Central, and distinguished alumni.

“I get to go to the Isaac Bruce and Jackie-Joyner Kersee presentation,” sophomore Logan Potts said. “I’m excited to see people from St. Louis who made it.”

Among other alumni attending the event are Diane Robinson, Dave Silvestri, and Binah Shah.

Other presentations include sexual assault awarness, sexual harassment awarness, the N-word, and cops in the community, among many others.
