From a spectator’s standpoint, Parkway Central soccer is off to a slow start, with a record of 2-8 as of print time. A couple of factors play into this. First of all, the team faced a tough schedule....

Defensive lineman junior Trevion Taylor (35), junior Terrell Brown (60), senior Caleb Mues (48), and senior Weston Schaefer (75) line up against Rockwood Summit’s offensive line. “It was more difficult because I could only use one hand, and I couldn’t really grab onto my opponent  like I would versus me recently when I played without it,” Terrell said.  Playing a sport while having an injury may be challenging but it’s worth it when you’re doing what you love.
