Every year, all of the varsity volleyball players give each other awful haircuts. It is a fun tradition that the team enjoys partaking in.

“It is honestly one of my favorite parts of playing volleyball,” said Matthew Deay, senior. “It is a great way for the team to bond and have a good time.”

The team has been doing this since 2011 according to assistant Coach Wilson. The team has found a lot of success since the haircuts became a tradition. The volleyball team has made their sixth straight final four, with their eyes set on back to back state championships.

The team is taking on Webster Groves at Webster Groves on May 22 at 7:45. With a victory, they will be playing in the championship in consecutive years. State final is Thursday, May 24 at 5:30 p.m.
