The COVID-19 pandemic has forced many businesses to close temporarily, including barbershops. That leaves many people with a decision to make. Should people wait patiently for barbershops to open, or should they cut their own hair? Here are some reasons why both choices are acceptable.
First, there is the option to wait. Since there isn’t man places to go, waiting for barbershops to open up makes the most sense. As the days, weeks, and in some cases months pass by, you may realize that you prefer your hair to be grown out. If you are waiting but you don’t like how your hair is looking, it’s not a big deal since most of us are in quarantine. In the occasion that you do leave your house, you can always wear a hat or hoodie to cover it up. Eventually, the day will come that people can go their haircuts.
The other option is cutting your own hair, also has its upside. If you want to learn how to cut hair, now is a good time to start. This option is for those who are comfortable enough with cutting their own hair. All you need are some clippers, if you have any, and you can start cutting away. An alternative option would be to have a family member or friend cut your hair. Overall, cutting your own hair is a good way to gain some experience.
At the end of the day, the decision is up to you to make. One isn’t better than the other, but they’re both things to think about while we are quarantined. Which decision will you go with?
