Arie Luyendyk, finally ready to find love again after already being on the show and ending with a broken heart. Arie is now open to finding love and the girls personalities are very unique. A Yale graduate, a personal stylist, a business owner, a real estate agent, a decorator who has a hobby and love of taxidermy, a rock-climbing nanny, and many more women.

They all have one thing in common: they were looking for love. On night one, Arie met all of the women and was overwhelmed. The girls’ experience was different. They waited in a line just to talk to him and some never got the chance, going home on the same night they came, without ever getting a chance to get to know Arie.

The first date Arie went on was with Becca K, she was surprised she was picked and was overwhelmed with joy when they went dress shopping. After that date came many more. One date later in the season Arie’s favorite group date happened, a demolition derby. With old race cars and they bumped into each others cars, seeing which one would stay in the longest with the car still being able to work.

One rose ceremony after another, the number of women left in the house kept going down. Some women leaving in tears, some saying the never had a fair chance. As it got down to the last two women Becca and Lauren, Arie struggled to make a decision. He reached out to his family to help make the decision and they couldn’t decide for him, it was his choice. But, his family seemed to prefer Becca.

On the season finale, Arie proposed to Becca Kufrin . When he broke the news to Lauren Burnham, she was devastated. Lauren finally opened up and got her heart broken. Everyone thought it was all over until after the final rose episode. Chris Harrison did not prepare the world for what would happen.

It turns out that Arie regretted proposing to Becca but never let her know to what extent. He knew for sure he made a mistake when he called Lauren on the phone, still engaged to Becca. Finally, Arie broke up with Becca, leaving her broken. Also, it was unedited on camera in the last episode. After, Arie went to Lauren’s house, told him what happened, and she forgave him immediately.

Since the season has ended, they had to lay low until the last episode. They were in disguise and Lauren even wore a wig. At the after the final rose episode the big announcement came out, Arie proposed to Lauren.

The most important news is, Becca Kufrin is our new Bachelorette. The Bachelorette premiering on Monday, May 28th .
