Cross Country Advances Runners to Sectionals

This weekend seven varsity runners from both the boys and girls Cross Country teams advanced through districts to Sectionals next weekend. 

For the boys, senior Brian Krumrey(16th), junior Scott Coulson (19th), and freshman Rodney Walton (30th) finished within the top 30 runners to advance to next weekend’s meet.

On the girls team, senior Kayla Friesen (7th), junior Elizabeth Gibson (17th), junior Allison Bain (21st), and sophomore Taylor Burlis (23rd) qualified.  As a team, the girls came in fifth place missing qualifying as a team by 12 points.     

These individuals will compete next weekend at sectionals held at the Parkway Central Cross Country course.
