More snow and more snow day make-ups.

Due to the fact that we had a snow day on a day that was supposed to be a day that we make up again, a day will be taken away from Spring Break.

We will have to make up Friday the 14th, and this is quite unjust. We will resume to a C day, on a Friday, the day before Spring Break. It seems absurd just thinking about it.

I doubt that most teachers will have something truly educational planned, because they have such a limited time span within a C day. It will honestly be a waste of both the students and the teachers time.

This date was marked on the Parkway calendar as a day of Spring Break, so students and their families who have travel plans will either push their travel plans back or just miss school.

This leads to more students out of the classroom, leaving the teachers deciding whether or not to teach a new lesson, on a Friday, with limited time. If they do decide to teach a lesson, that results in the student who missed to make up the work. That will lead to more work for the teachers as well as the student.

Teachers were also supposed to have this day off, while being paid, because  the teacher’s not being paid overtime for staying late on parent-teacher conference night.

Having school this Friday, is just a bad choice.
