4/15 After winning their first game of the season, the Colts topped University City 9-5 Tuesday to improve to 2-7 on the season. Junior Steven Lay got the win after throwing 4 and 2/3 innings and giving up 3 runs. Senior Brantley Lohkamp had 3 hits and 2 RBI’s to lead the offense. Seniors Sam Riley and Zack Lazenby both chipped in with 2 hits and a run batted in. The Colts will travel to Parkway West (0-10) on Wednesday, with action starting 4:15.

4/12 Varsity baseball got its first win of the season against Francis Howell by a final score of 7-3 on Friday. Reliever Matthew Bernstein came in the game in the second inning and led his team to victory behind six innings of work.

The Colts scored all seven of their runs in the sixth inning behind the performance of Johnny Naughten and Brantley Lohkamp. They have both had limited playing time due to a few complications, so the team felt a big lift with their return.
