Gaining their fifth victory of the season, the varsity water polo team defeated Rockwood Summit 9-8 on Monday. This is the colts second win over Rockwood Summit in a week as they beat them in a tournament over the weekend as well.
Although they trailed most of the game, the colts made a run in the fourth quarter. Down by two with just under three minutes remaining, senior A’rin Johnson entered the game and scored three clutch goals. One of which was the game winner.
“It was very shocking,” Johnson said. “I really thought it didn’t go in until I hear everyone screaming.”

The team will try to continue their winning ways tomorrow, April 29th, at University City.
