If you didn’t go to the fall choir concert you would have seen multiple performances including all of the grade choirs, a cappella, and pizzazz.while you were watching you would have seen multiple faces; one of them being Ms. Sydney Winders.
Sydney Winders: i think choir in general is just really fun. i like having to interact with a bunch of different people who can sing a bunch of beautiful ways.
sydney participates in 8 choirs
Sydney:I am in st.louis children’s choir’s concert choir ensemble, st.louis children’s choir’s chamber ensemble, Parkway central Acapella Ensemble, Parkway central’s Concert Choir, Parkway Central’s Show Choir, All- Suburban Choir, Swachta District Choir, and my church choir.
Being in almost every vocal ensemble in school seems overwhelming, but having 4 other choirs outside of school as well…seems pretty stressful
Sydney: i would love to be in every single choir that i can be but time management doesn’t allow me to do that.
I talked to some of the people that have worked with sydney so far this semester.
Jennifer Wade: She has a lot of time on her hands, i couldn’t do it so i admire a person like that. i would like to be in a lot of choirs to so i admire that. she’s bomb at sight reading and she has a great tone quality.
Noa Remi: its definately a lot to take on so i applaud her for definitely trying to balance all that out. she’s always willing to help anyone, she’s patient, she’s cooperative, and she’s nice- she’s easy to talk to.
Although sydney appreciates the compliments that are given to her’ she believes that there are no stars when it come to an ensemble
Sydney: Choir is a bunch of people singing together and no matter how good one person t thinks they are…it doesn’t make the choir. so i think i learn a lot from other people and they learn a lot from me. and its just a great growing experience to see me change and become better with each choir that I’m in
