Senior Libby Archer was awarded the 2017 Design of the Year Finalist position by the National  Scholastic Press Association. This great honor was given to her for a newspaper spread she created with Evan Mogley, last year.

Pages 12 and 13 of the Feb. 2017 Corral reports on the desegregation program in St. Louis, Mo. Senior Libby Archer and ’17 grad Evan Mogley designed the page which is a finalist in the NSPA Design of the Year Award.

“It was a great honor but the greatest honor was being featured on Dr. McCarthy’s twitter account,” senior Libby Archer said jokingly.

They will be announcing the winner of the contest this summer in Dallas Texas.

“I hope to win but I don’t think I am going to because I didn’t even think I was going to make it this far.” Senior Libby Archer said.

Parkway Central High School is rooting for Libby Archer and we hope we can see her win the contest over the summer.
