Colts Win 36-2 over Webster Groves

The Parkway Central Colts picked up the win in blowout fashion on Friday, September 28, 2018 over the Webster Groves Statesmen. With a score of 36-2, the Colts defensive came through in a much needed time of the season. Senior Tavion Jordan lead the Colts with two defensive touchdowns on a pick-six and a 60 yard fumble recovery for a touchdown. The defense for the Colts was showing how well they can play by limiting the Statesmen to only 2 points. The special teams came through in the clutch as junior Adi Sarangee recovered a kickoff to give the Colts an extra possession. Also scoring for the Colts was junior Cameron Roberts with a receiving touchdown thrown by junior Quarterback Antonio Hutti, senior Ryan Long also scored on a run play up the middle for a touchdown. Lastly, senior Jayden LittleJohn scored on a pick-six for 80 yards. This Colts win came at a perfect time as they really needed a boost of confidence for a late season push.

The remaining teams on the Colts schedule include Parkway West, Clayton, and Jackson. After the remaining three games the race for a district and conference Championship. “I felt like we played well on both sides of the ball, an overall good performance but we still need to improve in different parts of our game,” said junior Antonio Hutti. The Colts are getting ready for a big Homecoming game versus rival school the Parkway West Longhorns on October 12.
