Kayla Friesen, senior, led her team to a first place finish at the Parkway Quad at Castlewood State Park on Thursday, Aug. 30. The rest of the team packed up behind Friesen to win the meet.
“We came in with lots of confidence, and we met all of our goals,” said junior Allison Bain, who finished third on the team.
The girls JV team also finished first. The boys varsity team finished third, boys JV placed second, and freshman boys won their division.
