New Environmental Club

Myori Felix, Staff Writter

With climate change on the rise, students at PCH have taken up the opportunity to do something about it. In past years, students have come together to organize Operation 350, but unfortunately, the club fell through after students in the club graduated. Luckily, environmental awareness is on the rise, and if you’re anything like me, this makes for exciting news! If you are looking for ways to get involved in our school while also contributing to the environment, have no fear, a new environmental club is on it’s way. Students around PCH who share a passion to educate our community as well as actively participating in creating a greener environment have come together to create the new environmental club, The Green Team. This group is sponsored by the new science teacher, Jessica LaSota, and is driven by students who share an interest in helping our world. Club posters are in the making to share more information, but for now if you have interest in joining Green Team, the club meets roughly every other Monday from 2:30-3:30 in LaSota’s room. We hope to see you there!
