The Parkway Central Colt’s undefeated season came to an end as they lost to Washington 60-61 in double overtime. The team started off well leading 33-25 at halftime, but were held to just 13 points in the entire second half.
Senior Nathan Biggs led the team in scoring with 20 points, but was the only Colt to reach double digits. Seniors Connor Kraus and Kyle Disch, and junior Jarrett Cox-Bradley all ended the game with nine points.
“We’ll be fired up to beat St. Charles West,” senior Nathan Biggs said. “The loss is unfortunate, but only drives us more because we know we can out play a good team like Washington.”
A week of finals gives the team an eleven day break until their next game. They will be traveling to the Family Arena where they will play against St. Charles West.
