Junior Nisha Straub transferred from Hancock High School, located in South St. Louis city, because her dad moved into the district.
“I transferred here because my old school didn’t allow me to go there again after I moved,” Straub said.
Although Straub wasn’t initially excited to go to Parkway Central, she looks forward to making new friends.
“I like shopping, going to movies or just hanging out with friends,” Straub said.
