BBYO Jewish youth group is a big part of senior Michelle Koverman’s life. She is president of her chapter of BBYO and is often planning events and programs.
“I make sure that things get done within each chapter, or group of BBYO. I spend three hours a week at least working on BBYO stuff, and it is really important to me,” Koverman said.
As well as being involved in the Jewish community, Michelle is a talented ice skater. She hopes to become a figure skating coach after her skating career is over.
“I’ve been figure skating for 11 years and it has always been really important to me,” Koverman said.
