For sophomore Rachel Bernstein, saving lives is not uncommon. Sea turtle’s lives that is, on her beach vacation this past summer.
“Saving the sea turtle was a fabulous experience,” Bernstein said. “I felt like I had accomplished something special.”
When the sophomore isn’t on the beach, you might be able to find her on the basketball court. Bernstein has been playing basketball since elementary school. She played on the Freshman team last winter where she made established many close relationships.
“I got really close with my teammates, we were like family.”
