Freshman DeAnte’ Byrd is known to friends as D-Money, and he got his nickname from this fall.
“It was on the back of my shirt when I played football” Byrd said.
Byrd was a versatile player in the trenches this fall.

“(I played) really any position on the o-line and d-tackle.”
Since football is over and since baseball season isn’t in full swing yet, Byrd has a little more freetime on his hands. During his free time, he likes to play NBA 2k15.
“I play on MyCareer,” Byrd said. “He’s like 6 foot, he’s a point guard. He’s a good 3 point shooter.”
