Senior Celeste Escalante, swims towards the end of the lane at the conference meet at Clayton. “Practices were pretty rigorous on my end every now and then, and the hardest part of it was having to wake up at 4:30 for morning practices,” Escalante said.

Freshman Kenadie Johnson, senior Ella Harris, and sophomore Cecilia Tremont, all dive off the blocks. Johnson has been swimming for 11 years, at age 6 she starts to swim competitive. “My challenges in swimming are endurance, but my strengths are mental toughness,” Harris said. Tremont placed 15th place in the 50 free race.
